The Province of Ontario confirmed 356 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 45 deaths. Meanwhile another 397 people have made a full recovery and the Province completed 20,822 tests yesterday.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 356 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.2% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 29,403.
The Province also confirmed another 45 deaths bringing the total to 2,357 and 1,509 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 397 people have fully recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 23,208.
5,202 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,865 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 776 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 121 are in the ICU and 94 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 20,822 tests yesterday.
