The Province of Ontario has confirmed 413 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.7% increase. They also confirmed 31 more deaths and another 319 people have made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 413 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.7% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 24,187.
The Province also confirmed another 31 deaths bringing the total to 1,993 and 1,242 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 319 people have recovered from the virus bringing the total number of resolved cases to 18,509.
4,656 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,601 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 984 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 155 are in the ICU and 117 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province only completed 10,506 tests yesterday.
