The Province of Ontario confirmed 427 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 15 deaths. The Province only completed 5,613 tests yesterday. 17,898 people have now made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 427 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 23,384.
The Province also confirmed another 15 deaths bringing the total to 1,919. Meanwhile the total number of resolved cases now sits at 17,898.
The Province also added some new numbers for clarity today. Of the total numbers, 4,235 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario are or were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,456 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 987 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 167 are in the ICU and 123 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province only completed 5,613 tests yesterday.
