Woodstock Police investigated several hundred vehicles last night in various locations in the Friendly City.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police conducted RIDE programs throughout the Friendly City.

They were out in the community yesterday evening with help from volunteers from Mothers Against Drunk Driving  (M.A.A.D) out of London.

Several hundred vehicles were investigated and four drivers provided roadside breath tests. They say one driver had a blood alcohol level ranging between 50 and 99 milligrams and lost their license for three days. They were also charged under the Liquor License Act for having open liquor within their car.

Police are reminding the public that their officers will be out conducting RIDE programs during the holiday season, as well as throughout the year. And they say to make sure you have a safe ride home if you plan on using drugs or alcohol.
