You will be able to make a trip to the dump this weekend in Oxford County, starting on Friday morning.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Waste Management Facility on Salford Road will re-open to residential customers on Friday morning at 8:30.
The landfill will once again operate during regular hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The landfill is able to re-open as part of Phase One in Ontario's Roadmap to Reopen.
Visitors to the facility must continue to follow provincial health guidelines for physical distancing and face coverings. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the facility. You can check for a list of symptoms at www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-stop-spread.
Expect delays, as they do anticipate a high number of visitors. Contactless payment methods like debit and credit continue to be preferred over cash.
