The Waste Management Facility in Salford will be re-opening today. The County says customers may experience a delay due to the number of vehicles allowed in the site at one time.
SALFORD - Salford's Waste Management Facility will be re-opening today.
The facility will re-open with regular business hours to residential and commercial users.
The County asks customers to not make non-essential trips to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Those who do make trips may experience delays at the facility due to the number of vehicles allowed in the site at one time.
Under provincial health guidelines, staff and visitors will also be required to practice physical distancing staying at least two metres or six feet apart while on site.
The County adds staff and visitors are also required to follow proper hand washing and sanitization practices before they arrive and after they leave the site.
At this time, payment methods such as debit or credit are preferred over cash.
And if customers are sick or showing symptoms of COVID-19, they're asked to not visit the facility.
