One lane on Highway 401 was closed for several hours Tuesday after a serious crash just east of Highway 59.
OXFORD COUNTY - A 66 year old from Windsor is in hospital with life threatening injuries after a serious crash on Highway 401.
The crash happened yesterday afternoon around 2:42 p.m. Police say around 2:42 p.m. the vehicle was travelling eastbound on the 401 when the driver lost control and collided with the concrete median. The vehicle then glided across the top of the barrier and then re-entered the eastbound lanes where the vehicle then entered the south ditch coming to a rest.
One lane of Highway 401 just east of Highway 59 was closed for several hours.
The investigation is continuing and further updates will be provided once they become available.
