One new case was confirmed in Norwich today and there was one recovery in Elgin County. Elgin and St.Thomas now has 13 cases overall and Oxford County has three cases in total.
OXFORD/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in Norwich.
There is also one recovery in Elgin County.
Elgin County has 13 cases in total, while Oxford County has three cases overall; two cases remain in Tillsonburg.
There have been three institutional outbreaks since the pandemic started and they have all been resolved.
To date, the local health unit has had 105 cumulative cases with 82 cases resolved and five deaths. SWPH says there are 18 confirmed ongoing cases but it is unclear where one of the new cases is listed.
There have been 14,471 tests so far and 14,166 tests have been received. 14,061 tests have come back negative.
