A 21 year old Woodstock man is facing charges following an early morning stabbing in the City. Police were called to the intersection of Dundas and Wellington Streets just after 4 this morning after a report someone had been stabbed. Police say the accused approached a group of people who were walking along Dundas, threatened them and then pulled out a knife before stabbing one of the men. A 22 year old Woodstock man was treated at the scene for a minor cut. Police have not released the name of the accused but say he's facing charges of Assault with a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous and Uttering Threats. He was released from police custody and is pending a court appearance.
