TILLSONBURG - A 67 year old man from Tillsonburg is facing serious injuries after crashing into the back of a parked dump truck.
The man was riding his motorcycle on Front Road near Port Rowan just after 3:00 p.m. today. The man has been taken to the hospital by the ORNG air ambulance.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says they want to put out a reminded to everyone.
"It's a nice day for a ride and we want to put a reminded to everyone to slow down and pay attention. For all our motorcycle operators, I mean I just came here and I have no idea why a motorcycle would run into the back of a truck that is parked off the side of the roadway."
The motorcycle actually bent the rim of the truck tire and cut the tire right open. Sanchuk says drivers need to pay attention and always expect the unexpected. The driver was conscience when EMS arrived, he was talking and he was breathing.
