Police say a man from Tillsonburg broke into a home while the owners were sleeping and then assaulted one of them.
Norfolk OPP have charged a 30 year old man from Tillsonburg after responding an assault on 3rd Concession Road in Middleton.
Police say the man entered the home on Wednesday afternoon while the occupants were sleeping. When he was confronted by the homeowner, the two started arguing. Eventually things turned physical and a fight broke out.
Dale Patrick Gibbons was arrested and charged with break and enter, assault, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and uttering threats to damage property.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
