One truck driver had to have glass removed from his eye after getting hit with a drive by soda can.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - Oxford OPP are investigating three incidents where truck drivers had items tossed at their windshields in East Zorra Tavistock.
The first incident happened back on March 29th just after 10:30 at night near the Tavistock town limits. The second case happened in the same area around the same time on April 4th. Then finally yesterday it happened just after 7:00 a.m. All three incidents happened on Perth-Oxford Road.
In all three cases someone threw a full can of pop out of their window while passing the transport trucks. All three trucks had their windshields shattered and had to come to a sudden stop. These incidents could have had serious or fatal consequences.
OPP believe that all three incidents are likely related and were intentional.
In one case the driver of the transport had to seek medical attention to remove glass from his eyes. The Oxford OPP Scenes of Crime officers were called in to collect evidence and the investigation is ongoing.
