Turtlefest Takes Over Tillsonburg

Turtlefest starts at 5:00 pm today with a block party and the fun continues all weekend long, rain or shine.

TILLSONBURG - Tillsonburg is the place the be this weekend.

Turtlefest starts this evening with a Block party starting at 5 pm and a concert starting at 7 and then the fun continues all weekend long. Organizer Suzanne Fleet says they have so many events planned for Saturday and Sunday as well.

"We are doing a new thing this year called Dad's Day challenge. Dad's can come in with a son or daughter and get a passport, all they need to do is complete 4 out of 12 challenges and put their ballot into the ballot box and they are put into a contest to win a Napoleon BBQ, sponsored by Stubbe's Brand Source. We also have Beach Boys tribute concert tickets, Blue Jays tickets and a camping excursion."

Turtlefest will happen rain or shine all weekend long. The only way they will post pone events is if we get thunderstorms. You can watch for updates on social media or on the Turtlefest web site here. You can also find a complete list of events on the Turtlefest web site.
