TVDSB Reports 34 New Confirmed or Probable Cases of COVID-19

A total 34 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 were reported within the TVDSB last night and six of them are in Oxford County.

TVDSB/LDCSB/CSC PROVIDENCE - The Thames Valley District School Board is reporting 34 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19.

Six of those cases are in Oxford County. You can find a complete breakdown of all of the newest COVID cases within the TVDSB below.

- College Avenue Secondary School (Woodstock) - 2 cases
- Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute
- Northdale Public School (Woodstock)
- Winchester Street Public School (Woodstock)
- Hickson Central Public School
- Northdale Central Public School (Dorchester)
- West Nissouri Public School (Thorndale)
- Wilberforce Public School (Lucan) - 3 cases
- Pierre Elliott Trudeau French Immersion Public School (St. Thomas)
- A.B. Lucas Secondary School (London) - 4 cases
- Byron Somerset Public School (London)
- Emily Carr Public School (London) - 3 cases
- Glen Cairn Public School (London)
- John Dearness Public School (London) - 3 cases
- Kensal Park French Immersion Public School (London)
- Northridge Public School (London)
- Oakridge Secondary School (London)
- Ryerson Public School (London)
- Saunders Secondary School (London)
- Sir Arthur Currie Public School (London)
- Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School (London) - 2 cases
- Stoney Creek Public School (London)
- Woodland Heights Public School (London)

Outbreaks have also been declared at A.B. Lucas Secondary School, Emily Carr Public School and John Dearness Public School. Public health officials declare an outbreak whenever they find a connection between at least two cases. 

Meanwhile, the London District Catholic School Board is reporting three new cases at St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School in Woodstock. CSC Providence has also listed one active case of the virus at Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys on it's website.

Officials have already reached out to all of the affected parents, guardians and staff members. This means if you have not heard anything from your local school board, your child is not considered to be at risk.
