Six new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 have been reported within the TVDSB. Staff and students at Princess Elizabeth PS in London will also switch to online learning starting today.
TVDSB - The Thames Valley District School Board is reporting six new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19.
This includes one case at South Ridge Public School in Tillsonburg. The other cases affect schools in Dorchester and London and you can find the complete breakdown below.

- Northdale Public School (Dorchester)
- Princess Elizabeth Public School (London)
- Byron Northview Public School (London)
- F.D. Roosevelt Public School (London) - 2 cases
A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Byron Northview Public School in London. Thames Valley is currently reporting four active cases within that school community and the school remains open at this time. Public Health officials declare an outbreak whenever they find a connection between at least two cases.
Thames Valley has decided to temporarily close Princess Elizabeth Public School in London. The Middlesex-London Health Unit is now investigating another case of the virus within the school community that could be linked to the Omicron variant. All staff and students will transition to online learning starting today and they're scheduled to be back in the classroom after the winter break on January 3rd, 2022.
