Truth and Reconciliation Day is happening tomorrow, it is not recognized as a statutory holiday in Ontario, meaning most businesses will be open but not all.
Thursday is a holiday as it marks the inaugural National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
CLOSED
Not everyone will have the day off, in fact most won't as it is not a statutory holiday in Ontario. Only federally regulated private businesses will be closed.
Other locations not open tomorrow include banks, the post office, all service Ontario locations and all city of London administrative offices.
OPEN
Schools will remain open across the Province.
Oxford County City Hall will be open along with all Oxford County services. This is the same for the lower tiers as well including Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg. This means, arenas, pools city transit and city hall will open on Thursday.
Grocery stores, stores and restaurants will all be open with regular hours. The LCBO and Beer Stores will be open, however they may have shorter hours.
