Woodstock Police responded to several drug related calls over the weekend resulting in several arrests and a plea for anyone with drug users in your life to carry Naloxone kits. 

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police responded to several drug related calls over the weekend. 

If you know someone or suspect someone you know is consuming illicit drugs, consider carrying a Naloxone kit. Naloxone kits are free, easy to use and could save someone’s life.

WOODSTOCK - A 34 year old woman from Woodstock is facing several charges after she was caught stealing from several homes on Metcalf Street. 

The woman became combative with police during the arrest last Thursday morning. She was charged with resisting arrest, assault a peace over, 2 counts of theft under $5,000, mischief and possession of Fentanyl.

WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police were called to a report of an unconscious female in the area of Dundas and Huron early Saturday morning around 3:30. 

The woman regained consciousness before police arrived. She refused to attend the hospital when encouraged to do so by Police and EMS. 

The woman became aggressive and was eventually arrested for possession and failure to comply with undertaking.

WOODSTOCK - A 37 year old man from Woodstock is facing several charges after police were called to a local restaurant early Friday night about a suspicious person. 

Officers found the man in the area of Huron and Dundas. He was arrested on charges of possession of meth, opioids and cocaine.

WOODSTOCK - Two people were arrested around 4:00 am on Sunday after police stopped a suspicious vehicle.

The officer stopped the vehicle towing an unlicensed homemade trailer with unsecure lumber protruding from the trailer. The vehicle also matched the description of a vehicle involved in a theft of lumber materials from a constructions site on a previous date.

The 28 year old female driver was arrested for failing to comply with release order curfew. The male passenger was detained for investigation regarding the lumber.

Upon further investigation, police say they found amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, and brass knuckles in the vehicle.

28 year old Rebecca Lee and 31 year old Matthew Bradshaw of Ingersoll were charged with the following. 

- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

- Possession of Prohibited device or ammunition for Dangerous Purpose

- Possession of Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

- Possession of Schedule I Substance – Cocaine
