Woodstock Police is asking everyone to be prepared if you do have to venture outside over the next couple of days for essential work or trips.
They advise you to be prepared for everything and if you see snow, go slow. Also make sure you have at least a quarter tank of gas in your vehicle before heading out. Every car should be equipped with the following in the winter:
- Ice Scraper/brush
- Jumper cables
- Small shovel
- Flashlight/candle
- Winter clothing
- Blanket
- Water
- Non perishable food
- Traction mat or sand

WOODSTOCK - A 30 year old man from Terra Ontario has been charged with shoplifting in Woodstock.
Police say the man was caught taking items from a business in the area of Norwich Ave and Juliana Drive.

WOODSTOCK - A 59 year old woman was charged with impaired driving late Monday afternoon in Woodstock.
Police were responding to multiple complaints about a possible impaired driver just after 5 pm. When officers pulled over the woman, she refused to provide a breath sample.
The woman had her vehicle impounded for 7 days and licence suspended for 90 days.
Policing are thanking the alert motorist who reported their suspicions of an impaired driver and helping police keep the roads safe.

WOODSTOCK - A 22 year old woman is facing possession charges after WPS responded to a shoplifting complaint in the area of Dundas and Springbank on Tuesday night.
Police arrived and arrested the woman on an outstanding warrant. They also found her to be in possession of meth.
