A prominent member of the Woodstock business community passed away on Tuesday peacefully at his home at the age of 71.
WOODSTOCK - A prominent member of the Woodstock business community has passed away.
Zabian, Zabian was 71 years old when he passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Tuesday. Zabian came to Woodstock from from Mdoukha, Lebanon in 1973. He worked at the Zabians Men's Wear store downtown for 35 years, as well as Starlight Variety.
Zabian was still a big part of the store when the massive fire happened at Zabians last year, and was helping with the rebuilding efforts. He was very well known in Woodstock, especially with the business community.
Zabian leaves behind his brothers Kassem, Mohamed, Hussein, Hassib & Jamal. His sisters Feyrouz, Hind, Hadla and Thraya. His brother Mahmoud passed away in 2019.
Zabian also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
The family has created a Facebook group where you can share your stories and photo's of Zabian. The group is called Remembering our beloved Zabian Zabian.
