Zorra Township has released a slideshow from their Spring Photo Contest.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - Zorra Township has released a slide show from their Spring Photo contest.
Jill Parkhill was the winner of the Zorra Township prize pack with her entry Horses in Pasture. Mayor Marcus Ryan says it was really hard to pick a winner.
"Picking the winner was all at once enjoyable but also stressful because we had a lot of really great photo's to choose from. Of course you have to whittle through them and pick out a winner. The winning photo really stood out because it was a Spring contest and that one with the horses and the pasture, and that bright green lush countryside that see in spring, animals, obviously part of our agricultural heritage really stood out as the overall winner. That photo, along with the other ones will be used in Township literature over the coming year to promote the Township."
Ryan says it was pretty cool going through all the photo's.
"The slideshow of the photo's really is a great cross section of the whole the Township. I'm sure anyone from Zorra, if they look through that slide show will see several in there and recognize exactly where they are."
Parkhill won a Zorra Township prize pack which included a bag of swag featuring the Township's new Logo and motto, which is Doing Our Part!.
