Swim into the new year with a new session of swim lessons in the friendly city. The new session starts next week and it goes until the beginning of February.
WOODSTOCK - Time is running out to sign up for the latest session of swimming lessons from the City of Woodstock.
It starts next week and goes into February. Supervisor of Recreation Programs and Sponsorship, Jason Jolicoeur says they offer lessons for everyone in the family.
"We have parent and tot, so basically from 3 months old, we just want the baby to be able to hold their head up and then all the way to seniors and adults, we even have programs for teenagers to help them become lifeguards."
Jolicoeur says they have changed the winter programming this year and made the fall sessions shorter.
"It is a little different this year, because normally our fall session would go all the way to December, but parents were thinking that is a little too long. So a new session starts next week and it goes until the beginning of February, but not to worry, we will have a break throughout the Christmas holidays."
You can sign up for the swimming lessons online at the City of Woodstock or by calling the Southside Aquatics Centre.
