NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk County council has approved a mandatory face covering by-law.
The decision was made today during a Special council meeting. The new by-law will take effect on August 3rd. This means you will need to wear a mask inside any enclosed public spaces in the County.
They did create exceptions for schools, daycares, hospitals and anyone with an underlying health condition.
Businesses will be required to educate their staff and post signage and if they do not comply, they could face a fine of up to $1,000.
