The Town of Ingersoll is having a special council meeting on Friday, most of council will be calling in, with only the Mayor, CAO and Clerk in attendance.
INGERSOLL - The Town of Ingersoll is having a special council meeting on Friday, via a teleconference in order to implement Social Distancing requirements established by the Provincial and Federal Government.
It is happening at 1:00 pm and most of council will be calling into the meeting, rather than attending in person. The Mayor, CAO and the Town Clerk are the only three people who be in the building.
The meeting will be to consider an amendment to the procedure by-law to allow meetings to be held using technology such as conference calling. After that Council will convene another meeting to provide an update as to the actions taken thus far regarding COVID 19.

In a statement the Town states that they appreciate the patience of the community right now in a very trying time.
