June 4, 2024 will mark the 186th Anniversary of the First Recorded Baseball Game in North America which took place in Beachville, ON in 1838.

Join us at 6:30pm to learn about the first recorded game and the rich history of the equipment, uniforms, and teams in Oxford County over the last 186 years. Each attendee will have the opportunity to create their own replica 1838 ball, tour the museum, and enjoy light refreshments as we mark this special occasion.

All are welcome. Free attendance, donations to the Beachville District Museum welcome. No Registration Required.

The Beachville District Museum recognizes Community Futures Oxford for its financial support through the Community Economic Development Program to our Historic Baseball-making Experience which provides not for profits in Oxford County with grants that catalyse economic activity in a number of priority areas.
