This year's Big Night Out Charity Ball will be taking place at the Oxford Auditorium on Saturday, October 22nd and it's going to follow a Halloween theme.
WOODSTOCK - The Big Night Out Charity Ball is making a comeback this year.
It's the largest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County and it's going to take over the Oxford Auditorium in Woodstock on Saturday, October 22nd. The event will follow a Halloween theme this year.
The 19-plus event will include a cocktail hour starting at 6:00 p.m. and a buffet dinner catered by Beres Butchery & Catering in Tillsonburg starting at 7:00 p.m. The evening will also include a dance, silent auction, and prizes for the best Halloween costumes.
Resource Development Manager Liz Wismer-Van Meer says you don't have to dress up in a costume, but it's always fun to bring out your inner child.
"This is a great opportunity for businesses and companies to come out together, get a group costume idea and have some fun with that. We're looking forward to seeing all of the ideas that people come up with and it's going to be a really fun night."
Wismer-Van Meer says tickets for the event are on sale now.
"The early-bird tickets are actually on sale right now. You can save some money because they're $60 in advance and the ticket price will go up to $75 in September."
