TILLSONBURG - Habitat for Humanity Heartland is teaming up with Hayhoe Homes, for a new build in Tillsonburg.
The affordable home will be on Braun Ave in the north end of town. The exact location is currently known as Lot 84.
Construction will begin this fall and Hayhoe Homes will be donating a portion of the lot cost. It's also going to help pay for the drafting and structural needs, and help with land surveying and the development plan.
Al MacKinnon, the Acting CEO of Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario says this project would not be possible without Hayhoe's contributions.
“Our partnerships always strengthen us in the community, and this joint effort will help us build quickly and efficiently for another family. We are grateful to Hayhoe for stepping up and working with us on this project.”
Those who have experience working in local trades who are interested in volunteering for the build can reach out to Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario or Hayhoe Homes.
