INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Harvest Festival will be celebrating Ingersoll's agricultural roots.
The five day extravaganza features everything from a Kiwanis Rural Urban Dinner, to sidewalk sales, carnival games, and agricultural demos.
When you enter Ingersoll on Saturday, Ingersoll Cheese and Agricultural Museum curator Scott Gillies says you might hear something a little strange.
"You'll hear what sounds like an airport in Victoria Park. That's just the lawn tractor races. These are not your garden variety tractor, but these are high end, high proficiency supped up machines."
Gillies says this is a fun, affordable family event.
"It is all free. It's part of the Town of Ingersoll's efforts to host different festivals and events throughout the year. There will be donations gratefully received."
On Saturday night they invite everyone to gather in Victoria Park to watch a fireworks display.
For more information and a full list of events head to Ingersoll Harvest Fest's website.
