TILLSONBURG - One man had to go the hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries after a bar brawl in Tillsonburg.
Oxford OPP were called to Roho's Bar and Grill on Broadway Street just after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. Police were initially called to help disperse a large crowd that had gathered outside of the bar after last call. It was during this melee that a fight broke out between three young men. Two of them were badly beaten. A 19 year old victim suffered minor injuries while an 18 year old had to go to the hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries to his face.
Police caught up with the man they allege caused those injuries just after 3:00 a.m on Brock Street causing another disturbance. After a brief struggle with police the man was arrested. 20 year old Travis Montgomery of South West Oxford Township is facing a number of charges including, assault, assault causing bodily harm and resisting arrest.
The accused was held for a bail hearing to answer to the charges.
