3 days suspensions, drugs, fireworks and noise complaints kept Stratford Police busy this long weekend.
STRATFORD - Stratford Police had a busy long weekend with several noise complaints about loud parties and fireworks.
Police did have to arrest one man for his own safety because he was heavily under the influence of a drug. Several R.I.D.E. programs were set up in the Festival City as well. Officers stopped over 900 vehicles and they handed out a number of 3 day suspensions.
Meanwhile over the last 24 hours police investigated the theft of 200lbs of copper wire from an Erie St business valued at over $400. They also recovered a stolen Hyundai Sonata that was taken from a residence in the south end in late April.
