The CAST Summer Camp at Theatre Woodstock is putting on Doctor Dolittle Jr for their 20th Anniversary
WOODSTOCK - The CAST Summer Camp at Theatre Woodstock is celebrating its 20th anniversary this summer.
For the past 20 years kids have been going to the drama camp to learn about singing, dancing, the theatre but also to make new friends and have plenty of fun. For the 20th anniversary show the cast made up entirely of kids from the camp between the ages of 7 and 15 will be doing a play called the Doctor Dolittle Jr. The show is based of the 1969 version of the film Dr. Dolittle.
General Manager for Theatre Woodstock Mike Crabbe tells Heart FM the show promises to produce a lot of laughs.
"It's a lovable tale of Dr. Dolittle, who is a people doctor and quickly discovers he is not too great with people and has a great way with animals and he is very driven and wants to learn how to speak with animals. So we go on a journey with him as he learns to speak with animals."
Crabbe says they will be running four shows at Theatre Woodstock on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m they will also be doing a mid morning show on Friday at 11 a.m.
