Take in the midway, a reptile show, a mini tractor pull, and all kinds of competitions at the Woodstock Fair
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Fair promises to be bigger and better this year as they celebrate 180 years.
Secretary and Treasurer Maria Reis talks about some of the events they have planned this year.
"So some of the highlights this year are a fireworks display for the 180th and that's taking place on Saturday August 27th. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we have all kinds of activities going on for the kids."
They will have Mad Science, a mini tractor pull, Ray's Reptiles, a motorcycle show Friday night and the demo derby on Sunday just to name of few along with midway rides. Reis tells Heart FM no fair would be complete without some competitions.
"If your kids love to enter competitions there is photography and colouring, vegetable competitions, and flower arranging, lots and lots for the kids to do."
The fair runs from August 25th to the 28th. You can find out more information about the competitions online here.
