Four amazing guest speakers have been lined up for the Bold for Change International Women’s Event coming up in Woodstock.
Ladies in Oxford County are invited to come out to the Quality Hotel and Suites on March 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Christine Smith tells Heart FM they have four panelists who will be speaking at the event this year including a local officer.
"We have four panelists that are coming that will be speaking at the end of the evening. Melissa Page Kennedy is transgender and she did hear transformation later on in life, so we are going to hear from her. Staff Sargeant Marcie Sheldon is going to be coming and tell us how she has been moving up the ranks in the police force as a female and we have Mary Howe from Otterville, she has some horses that she uses to help people with depression, suicide, post traumatic stress disorder."
The other speaker at the event is Cindy Gayle who will share her story about how her daughter committed suicide as a teenager.
