Several people are facing serious and even life threatening injuries after a two vehicle crash in Norfolk County.
TOWNSEND - Seven people were taken to the hospital after a crash at Villa Nova Road and Concession Road 2 in Townsend.
Police say a red van crashed with a car on Sunday night. All six people in the van were taken to the hospital, as was the driver of the car.
Two passengers in the van had to be air lifted to a Hamilton and Toronto Hospital for further treatment. Several passengers in the van suffered serious or life threatening injuries.
Technical Collision Investigators assisted with the investigation. The intersection of Concession 2 of Townsend and Villa Nova Road was closed for several hours to allow for further investigation.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
