Credentials Questioned at Park Lane Terrace

CTV says Siobhan MacGillvary is no longer employed with Park Lane Terrace Long Term Care Facility in Paris, after it was revealed she is not properly certified.

PARIS - Another employee is no longer with Park Lane Terrace Long Term Care Home in Paris due to their credentials.

According to CTV Kitchener, Siobhan MacGillvary was working as a Social Service Worker at the home, even though she was not certified with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. MacGillvary does have a Social Service Worker diploma from Fanshawe College.

This past November, CTV also reported Laura Erskine was working at the facility as a nurse but was not certified with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

The long term care home is run by the company APANIS which is based out of London. They told CTV this is not a common issue, they have nearly 1,000 employees and a vast majority of them have been and are currently properly credited.
