Trevor Hendershot raised $720 worth of books through the Little Wonders Book Fundraiser and he dropped the donations off at DASO yesterday.
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock man set out to raise $500 worth of books for Domestic Abuse Services Oxford, but he wound up raising over $700 worth in the end.
Trevor Hendershott says the Little Wonders Book Fundraiser raised a total of $720 worth of books from Usborne. The independent book publisher will also be sending a charity box valued at $250 to DASO thanks to the fundraiser's success. The box will be delivered sometime in June.
Hendershott runs his own childcare and he took the kids with him to drop the books off at DASO yesterday.
He would like to thank everyone in the community who supported the fundraiser in April.
