One person is dead after a house fire in Thames Centre.
THAMES CENTRE - Middlesex OPP are currently conducting a death investigation after a structure fire in Thames Centre.
Firefighters were called to the home in the 100 block of Elgin Road at 12:55 this afternoon after getting word of a structure fire. When they arrived they found one person who was deceased at the scene. No word at this time as to what caused the fire and the investigation is still in the early stages. Police are not providing much information and the Fire Marshall has been notified.
Elgin Road between Dundas Street and Trafalgar Road is closed. Motorists will have to find alternative routes. We will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
