WOODSTOCK - A 21 year old man from Woodstock is facing a number of charges after police found him passed out in a parked vehicle.
Police were called to the Orchard Road area on Monday morning around 10:30 after getting reports of a man passed out in a vehicle. When police arrived they charged the man with being in care and control of a motor vehicle while being impaired. Police say they also found open liquor and controlled substances in the vehicle.
As a result Eric Kitching of Woodstock has been charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Police say they found marijuana, cocaine, hashish, cash, and a prohibited weapon that can all be attributed to Kitching. The estimated street value of the drugs is $4,500.
