SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - The Township of South-West Oxford is celebrating Earth Arbour Day today, Saturday September 26th.
Residents of the Township can purchase blue boxes, green cones, composters, and rain barrels at half price from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. today at the Sweaburg Pavillion.
Mayor David Mayberry says Council feels it promotes environmental care and recycling so they are willing to cover half the cost.
Payment can be made in cash or cheque.
The first 50 people using the drive through service will receive a Colorado spruce seedling.
