East Zorra Tavistock will have their council meetings at the Oxford County Administration Building from now on.
EZT - East Zorra Tavistock has moved their council meetings to Woodstock.
For the time being they will have their council meetings twice a month at the Oxford County Administration building. Corporate Services Manager and Clerk Will Jaques tells Heart FM they do understand this could be a little inconvenient for residents.
"We haven't received any formal criticism of it, but we understand any change is difficult, difficult for council and staff as well but certainly given the circumstances, we feel it is an appropriate move temporarily and hopefully folks are able to find their way down to Woodstock, it's a few minutes extra, we understand that but certainly it is an excellent facility and our meeting went very well yesterday."
The move was made because they needed more space for staff at the EZT office. They hosted their first council meeting at the County admin building yesterday.
