A passenger has died after police believe a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree near Cathcart.
CATHCART - A person has died after a fatal collision in Cathcart.
Brant OPP along with County of Brant Fire and Ambulance were called out to the scene on Highway 53 just east of Cathcart shortly after 3 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24th.
They believe the 19 year old driver of an eastbound Ford Focus lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. The passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are looking into the crash and Highway 53 between Sixth Concession Road and Middletown Line Road is closed as a result.
