The Canadian Cancer Society of Oxford County is looking for a few good men and women to face their biggest fears.
They have launched the Fearless Challenge where people are asked to raise money so they can come face to face with something that petrifies them. Community fundraising specialist Liz Van Meer tells Heart FM about some of the challenges that were done in Oxford in the past.
"It could be a fear of spiders or snakes, so maybe your going to let a spider walk over your or hold a snake, there is a gentlemen who is going to wear a beard of bees and is going to Clovermead in Aylmer to do that."
Van Meer says your biggest fear can be anything and explains the reasoning behind the fundraiser.
"It's really to show support to those living with cancer who face the biggest fear to hear that work that you are living with cancer."
