A free turkey dinner will be served at Unifor Local 636 on Thanksgiving Monday for those in need.
WOODSTOCK - A free thanksgiving dinner will be held in Woodstock to make sure nobody spends the holiday alone.
Unifor Local 636 will be hosting it in a partnership with Operation Sharing, Oxford County Pride, Woodstock Foodland, and The Pub at Norwich Ave.
President Brent Thompson says they will have enough food for 400 to 500 people.
"The Thanksgiving dinner is for those that are in need, but the term 'in need' is very large. It doesn't mean you're homeless or you're sick, it could also mean you might not have somebody to share Thanksgiving with."
He adds they will be serving all of your holiday favourites.
"We have turkey, stuffing, potatoes, peas, corn, buns, whatever you need to have for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner!"
The dinner will be served at Unifor Local 636 on Beale Street in Woodstock on Monday, October 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m..
