Robert Crimo III pleads not guilty to 117 felony charges.
The man accused of gunning down seven people during an Independence Day parade near Chicago has pleaded not guilty.
Robert Crimo III has been indicted on 117 felony charges in connection to the Highland Park, Illinois shooting.
The suspect faces 21 counts of first degree murder, 48 counts of attempted murder and 48 counts of aggravated battery.
Authorities say a gunman climbed onto a store building and fired over 80 rounds from an assault-style rifle into the crowd.
Crimo was arrested later that day.
If convicted, Crimo faces life in prison.
