It's a major milestone for Hino Motors Canada as they celebrate 10 years in the Friendly City.
WOODSTOCK - Hino Motors Canada is celebrating 10 years in the Friendly City today.
Hino team members assemble medium and light duty trucks at their facility on Ridgeway Road and they presently have the number one market share in that segment of the market. Plant Manager Derek Holeman tells Heart FM why they wanted to come to Woodstock in the first place.
"The Woodstock site was chosen for a number of reasons and one of those was its location to all 400 series highways and also our relationship within the city and economic development."
Hino provides over 75 full time jobs to people in Woodstock and the surrounding area. Holeman says they wouldn't have been able to have grown to the point where they are now if not for the dedication of their team members in Woodstock.
"We have built the business over the past 10 years based on the dedication of our team members here in Woodstock."
