A pedestrian on the 401 was sent to a nearby hospital after hit and run.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD- Oxford OPP were dispatched to the 401 Westbound near Dodge Line in South-West Oxford, for a report of a hit and run on a pedestrian.
Early this morning around 3:15 a.m. the pedestrian's vehicle ran out of gas on the highway. The individual exited the vehicle to get some assistance and was then struck by a passing vehicle that left the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
