Police say a man driving a stolen truck fled the scene of a two vehicle crash at the border of Perth and Oxford Counties.
Perth County OPP are investigating after a hit and run involving a stolen truck in Zorra Township.
OPP were called out to the corner of Perth Oxford Road and the 11th line yesterday just before noon. Police say the stolen truck crashed with a Volvo wagon and ended up slamming into a hydro pole. The driver of the stolen GMC got into a dark colored Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck immediately after the crash and the pair fled the scene. The Chevy has also been reported as stolen.
Both vehicles were badly damaged in the crash, however no injuries have been reported. The driver of the stolen GMC is described as a white man between 19 and 25 years old with a thin build, wearing baggy clothes and a flat brimmed hat.
