UPDATE: OPP say the vehicle turned out not to have been stolen. No charges will be laid, and the roadway is back open. Highway 2 in Thamesford is blocked off by a heavy police presence this afternoon. The road was blocked after police managed to stop a transport truck and trailer that was allegedly stolen in London. Police pursued the stolen rig, before managing to get it stopped in the village. Witnesses in the area say there are as many as 10 police cruisers at the scene. There's no word from police on how long the roadway might be shut down. We'll have more details as they become available.
