Two men, including one from Oxford have been charged with impaired driving in Shakespeare.
PERTH COUNTY - Perth County OPP have charged two people with impaired driving, including a 22 year old man from Oxford County.
Early Sunday morning police pulled over a Chevy Tahoe in Shakespeare with extensive damage to passenger side door. Police say they could tell right away the driver was impaired by alcohol and claim he failed the breath test back at the station. The 20 year old from the Township of Perth East has been charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.
Meanwhile on Monday at 2 a.m. Perth County OPP pulled over a Ford Pickup in Shakespeare.
Police say the truck was speeding, which is why they pulled over the driver, who eventually stopped north of Amulee. The driver failed a road side breath test and the test taken back at the station according to police.
A 22 year old man from Blandford-Bleinheim Township has been charged with driving while impaired.
