It was a very scary stroll through the trails for two 10 year old boys in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are looking for two young men who tried to sell drugs to a couple of kids on one of the walking trails in Woodstock.
Police say two 10 year old boys were offered to buy crack from the men on Friday while walking on the trail at Springbank and Landsdowne. When the kids refused, they ran away and the men chased them. Constable Nikki VanLeeuwen tells Heart FM they are not certain why the men chased the kids.
"That's troubling that 18 or 20 year olds would act that way towards 10 year old children, we haven't confirmed whether or not all the information we have is factual but the facts are these young boys were scared by 20 year old men who should be acting more responsibly."
Police are looking for two men between the ages of 18 and 20 and they did not get a great description of the suspects. One of them was white with blonde hair and wearing a black hat and the other had dark skin.
