The Ontario Legislature will resume today with a majority PC Government.
ONTARIO - Ontario's MPPs will return to Queens Park today.
The Legislature will resume today and it's going to be the first sitting since the Progressive Conservatives won a majority government this past June. The first order of business will be the election of a new Speaker and two Tories are vying for the job.
Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell will deliver the throne speech at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow and the budget will be delivered afterward. There are reports that the throne speech will address skyrocketing inflation and the healthcare crisis, but it's unclear if there will be measures to deal with those issues.
